Ive been looking at these as I'd quite like one. But I cant seem to find any that start any older than M. I'd like one to start with B do you reckon this is just because there not common and would it be best contacting DVLA about this. Also can you recomend any good sites to look for them, and any that help you compose them?

Agreed. A lot of these other sites dont even own the plates. They just buy them off the dvla when you buy it off them and add a bit extra ££ onto the price.

Dvla will be cheaper and a lot better to deal with

Some of the other sites that sell them seem to have my plate up for sale. I wouldn't trust them because that seems like a bit of a dodgy tactic.

I wanted F14TGP for mine I couldnt justify £700 for a plate though

thats why I couldnt justify £700, knowing my luck Id get it then my car would get wrote off and Id be stuck with it

in those 2 links posted, i cant find how to search suffix type plates (xxx 111x) on preffix, and new style? Also why cant i choose any number? i want 85 as the number, not 80 or 88 :S

Same problem Im getting I might drop them a line see if they have anything starting with B surely they must do.

85 probably isn't available as a combination with the letters you picked mate

Paid £490 for mine from dvla site - received the paperwork in two days and drove to my nearest dvla office and had the paperwork sorted and then hadmy plates made. 3 days and it was all on! easy.
Just waiting for my metal pressed plates i ordered from Regal in southampton (£30 = bargain), should be here tomorrow
