long black with ring end goes to battery.

vacuum pipe from ecu connects to the vacuum take off on the throttle body. its at the left hand side as you look at the tb, same side the tps is on.

had a little play with it today,

the bit im really confised about is the starter/ alternator loom.

on the corsa the loom is in the bay still for the alternator starter motor and reverse switch,

but on the c20let engine the loom for the starter and alternator also has a round plug attahced to it that has the oil pressure. tempreture blue/white wire and alternator signal wire blue/white wire and more goig into it ready to be pluged into some thing?

do i need to chop the wires and wire them in to the corsa loom?

The ropund plug is the connector used for the starter loom on it, when I did mine I just unwound the loom and removed it and wired in the starter loom from the old engine then wrapped the loom all back up.

This might help you out a bit:

yeah u need to chop the loom all i used to do was transfer the loom off the old corsa engine but being as ures is in now it will bew*nk to change so all i would do (if i was u) i wud chop the round plug off the engine side and then the same off the old corsa engine and wire the corsa engine plug onto the engine wireing (its all colour to colour)

but what year car do u have and do u have a grey plug on the corsa starter loom

ok thanks.

i still cant work out where the amal valve connects to at the top end, like the hose connecter i been told it goes into the small breather on the rocker cover but ther are diffrent size holes and i dont see what connecting it to this would do

im guessing the amal valve controlls boost, had a little read up on it. if i get an electronei boost controller in guessing this replaces it

3 pipes to the amal valve, the one on the end on its own goes to the small pipe which T's into the main breather going to the turbo inlet.

On the other end, the one nearest the wiring connector goes to the nipple on the turbo compressor housing, the one furthest away from the wiring connector goes to the actuator.

You can PM me again if you need any help with any of the water pipes, Pretty sure I remember where they all go

Oh and yes if you get a standalone boost controller you dont plumb the amal valve in, you just need to leave it with the wiring connector on it to stop the EM light coming on

John on the picture i've put up it shows you how the amal valve goes & all the pipes ect. Thea amal valve is pictured number 5. The chips are in the ecu, has nothing to do with the valve. The amal valve is a boost solinoide & controlls the amount of boost.

The breather on the rocker has a t-piece in it with a 4mm hose to connect to the amal valve.

All you need is a few meters of 4mm silicone hose to go from the ecu to the tophat, amal valve to actuator & turbo housing.

Have you got the big breather that goes from the rocker cover to the turbo inlet? That has a small pipe coming off it half way down, thats for the amal valve
