I had the exact model, and it failed its MOT on shit loads of stuff (not just little stuff either), cant remember what it all was now, obv that could have just been a bad un.
As said, they are under powered, but they arent all that thirsty, we used to get 400 miles to a tank?? They are comfy, however I found whatever position the seat was in after 30 minutes of driving it would give me chronic backache, not even my 1994 Corsa did this And also going round corners even at sensible speeds it floats around like a boat. And the Si boot spoiler is a pig for reversing.
I didnt like it very much I have to be honest

Kirstys Dad had one (bought it for £200 6 years ago, sold it for £180 with a few bent valves 5 years later )
It was very juicy in his opinion (but then he used to do town driving), 250 miles to a tank. It was a bit underpowered but comfy.
Could get some better stuff for the money IMO?

Surely something smaller and 1.4 would make much more sense?

its mainly motorway driving so needs more than a 1.0 corsa
TBH £300 was the main reason for enquires
