Right guys had a small crash last october had all the repairs carried out and the car is fine except a wierd whinein noise when i turn. The powersteering was leaking but has been fixed yet the noise still remains. Has any one had a similar problem or have an idea what it could be

Was the pump run dry? if it was you may need a new pump mate..

not tht i no of mate always had plenty of fluid in the tank

the powersteering still works its still as easy to drive as it was wen i got it it just this noise

What id do is get someone to put it on full lock and listen in the engine bay to see where the noise is coming from.. then take it from there

could be your steering rack then mate..

if it had a leak there is a possiblity it ran low on fluid at one point which leads me to believe its either one of them two..
do you know any mechanics?
