How do u equate that then?

50cc 2 stroke = 75mph
200cc 4 stroke = 85mph

Scoota's arn't made for going fast... Same way a 1.2 8v will be left behind by a 1.2 16v...

things like 125 cc Aprillia's are made to go fast... e.g. the race replica's...

Also did you consider Drag might be an issue? person sitting on wide stupid scooter and person head down on a sleak bike

I'm just talking crap, bla bla bla bla bla

Scootas are made to go fast im afraid. My current one is a 125cc, sits at 60-65mph all day.
New one cracks 85mph all day as well.

Drag etc is not an issue. The bikes are exactly the same. Only difference is i get bigger brakes, bigger engine etc. Basic chassis, bodywork panels are the same.

Well, whatever about the scoota's ... I don't know how fast yours goes because I've never seen it... but I do know for a fact there are 50cc Aprilia's that do 70-75 mph and 125 Aprillia's and Cagiva Mito's that do over 90!

Oh yeah, different engines.

Aprilia produce their own 50cc, and 125cc engines. When it moved up to the 250cc engines, they used the RGV250 (suzuki) engines, tweeked them and gave it a new chassis.
