Normal 95. Might tick over abit quieter on ultimate (found it did in my xe). Fuel consumption is less with ultimate but hardly noticable at all, andwith the extra money you pay for it, it dont make a difference one bit!

Just normal unleaded, super would be a bit of a waste of money.

I've had better results and economy running Vpower than any other fuel...

Ran a full tank of each fuel once and noted averages...

Vpower averaged 33.8 MPG (521 miles)
Tesco 99 averaged 32.7 MPG (503 miles)
BP Ultimate averaged 31.6 MPG (487 miles)
Regular unleaded couldn't even average 30MPG, only got to 28.9... (445 miles)

Thats going from the MID display, reset after each fill.

I did notice better pickup and midrange acceleration running Vpower compared to the others...

But hey, I'm not Thorneymotorsport... what do I know...

From our dyno and racing experience tesco 99 provided the best power gains once mapping was adjusted to suit. Also Lab tests we had done showed it was the best quality fuel and was the most consistent all round the country.

But in reality, in an old engine with primitive sensors and engine management you will be hard pushed to feel the difference between super and regular.
