for example some early gls cars are say 1.4si on the back

the sri 8v was the only one to come with multipoint injection, unless it was some police issue cars

There are two 1.4 8v engines in Corsas.

1.4 8v Single Point Injection - 60bhp - Get out and walk.

1.4 8v Multi Point injection - 82bhp.

Will they have the same top speed? No, one has more power.

i know this they have a different inlet manifold will a multipoint injection 5 door be as fast as a mpi three door?

most early sri corsas came with si on the tailgate and sri on the doors for some reason

A 1.4si will have an MPI (multi point injection - Corsa SRi 8v) engine, so yes they are the same.

Auto's and alot of 5 doors had the MPI engine too.

The sri engine has a different head from the normal 1.4 8v.

Yes, it has multi point injection - Round inlet ports.

The SPI (or Hi-Torq as its sometimes known) has square inlet ports.

ive got a 5 door with a 1.4 mpi 8v engine and a corsa sri 1.4 mpi 8v and the 5 door is faster than the sri
