They are just a vectra, plummeted in price recently, build quality has went down massively since the old ones, saab probably won't be around much longer, you could probably get a newer better specced vectra for the same money.

As said the exact same car as a Vec, I looked into the same cars just recently, could pick up a 54plate 2.2TiD with 90k for £2k

Is the 2.2TiD the 2.2DTi found in Vectra's?

Mainly because GM own Saab.

[useless relatively unknown fact]
Irmscher isn't exclusively Vauxhall but because of Saab etc being GM, you can get Softstars etc for Saabs, and even brochures off the Irmscher website

I work at a Saab dealer. Tbh the 2.2 lumps are pretty good. main problems we have are with egr's and intercoolers. Totally different to the vectras aswell imo.
Oh and Saab will be fine! (i hope lol)

These are as cheap as used X-Types imo...
£5500 will see you an '06 example in the auctions. I would have one over a Vectra purely for the badge.

Much prefer the look of the 93 to the Vectra - one of my bosses has the 2.0t Vector, and another the 3.2 aero convertible. The vector is a nice car (crap dash though) but the aero is ace.
