I'd like a bigger FMIC for the skyline but i'm simply amazed by the prices being asked for 'branded' FMIC's....

£1800 for Trust
£1500 for Nismo
£1200 for HKS
£900 for Blitz

Thats just for the cooler too, no pipes etc! Cooler is 700x300 normally with depth varying from 100-140mm. Standard is 70mm.

Feckin Rip offf.

Got a fair discount for Blitz, but still £600 odd. Got a discount for XS power (£200) but there reputation is pants

do a fair bit of searching..... none of the ebay specials fit right, so would need to faff around making brakets and getting new pipework.

Have that as a backup option, but looking to get a decent second hand one just now.

Popped a universal Allard IC into the Punto GT ages back... bit of bodging required but did a good job.

What about a custom Pace jobbie. Give them the specs you want. Surely that would be cheap than 1k

Got an XS Power one on the Rex Last owner fitted it, but it seems to do the job. Would prefer a better, branded one all the same.

links to Pace and Forge MS?! I doubt they would, but i guess the most important part is bracket points and inlet/outlet positions

Go for an Ebay special and take it to somewhere that can custom make pipes up.Surely itl still cost alot less than the prices youve been quoted.

wont really need to 'make' pipes... just buy off the shelf 3" alu bends etc and samco joiners for example.

I'm thinking for quick fitting and ease though as I'd like get this done ASAP and that would mean Fee doing it.

Those HDI ones are supposed to be a fantastic intercooler. Heard alot of good things about them and they seem to be fairly cheaper than alot of others.
