they wont insure me untill im 21 on a corsa b 1.6 sport

19 2 years no claims (3rd year in june)

norwich union

ive only got 4months left on my policy to cancel it and go somewhere else..

what are other people paying on a 1.6 sport?

wtf Quinn only wanted £250 for me to change my 1.0 to a 1.6 sport at 18 1ncb

thats what im thinking

something is wrong here, jeez theres only a small amount of cars i can actually choose from, dont even give me the chance to insure even if i was willing to pay it..

wtf! Elephant insured me on a Civic EK4 VTI with 160bhp at 19, although I was paying £1600 FC

Why not jst get a shitter for now and save the money and get something better in June?

Wait til June when prices have come down more/might have changed your mind.

Or buy a 1.2 Corsa with a C20Xe and don't declare it till June?

Surely you can negotiate with your current insureer about the 1.6 sport?

they just said sorry we cannot insure you on the vehicle, you have to be 21 years or old..

just rang again to have a word etc..

and they wasnt having non of it, even if my mum insured it and i went as a named drive i still have to be 21..

and i said well my mates got one and hes 18, but still no we cant..

and i just said well i may cancel my policy, so could you please just insure me for 3/4months, and he said well if you cancel you will loose your no claims for this year as i said before..

so what a load of shit!!!!! that is.

have u tried kwick fit there normaly preety good for young drivers i did my old nova threw them wen i was 18 and did corsa threw them before i got rid of it

give them a try see wat they say

thought about it i had a 9 month policy, got 4 months left to pay off (still paying with me not having a car so i get the no claims) but im only half way thought...

so tempted to cancel it and get a cheaper price..

if u cancel u will have to pay the 4 months stright up and u will lose the ncb its best to let it run as the years ncb willl save u more then cancelin the policy pal
