Hi evewrybody

Just wondering if the red ecotec injectos on a x20xe are worth putting on an C20xe block as they flow more cc than the blues

XE blues 241cc @3 bar

and the

Ecotec reds 249cc @3 bar

Cheers

well if your car hasn't been remapped, I would put on the ecotec reds to give it a slight fuel increase as more air is now obviously going in, it will be safer than being too lean.

the fuel increase will be handled by the engine control unit as standard.. air fuel ratio is measured by the lambda probe dont forget, and the engine control unit adjust injector duration to suit.. fitting larger injectors will only result in the injection duration being decreased..

ported and polished head = more air
cams at some point = more air
We all know ecus are crap at adjusting them selfs, how many cars I've heard of running lean when put on a rolling road is unreal, with just an induction kit and exhaust.
