What the hell is that in the first pic? Looks like a WW2 army truck chassis that's been crashed into a U-boat.

Its a tank engined car, most likely made by Blastolene. 27 litre 1300BHP, torque up near 2k

Unsupercharged version of the Merlin engine which was called the Meteor and used in tanks.
