No chance, the strip down job won't even be complete by then never mind putting it back together.

I think for Combe we have the Hood again but this time it'll go out, plus Stes regular ride 206 GTi in case it rains

Total strip to bare shell, paint stripped then rebuilt up from new/reconditioned parts. Basically a complete restoration, nothing untouched.

Ian's stripping the dash out as we speak so is too busy to answer questions!

Won't be concours. Will be very clean and looking like new. Car will be standard apart from lowered and 16" Alesios.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I want it tidy. Not too tidy to not use but with any tatty bits tackled and sorted out. Spec will be fairly as standard apart from the wheels, suspension and exhaust. Perhaps some engine work, see what happens. Want to keep it looking fairly factory.

At no point will it not be used. I am actually quite gutted that it doesn't currently drive because today I just wanted to get in and take him out.

Rust has returned on the leading edge of the roof, paint is damaged where some of the masking has been removed, there's a few runs and orange peel and bits of overspray. It didn't have factory electric windows and it's had more alarms than a firestation on bonfire night so the wiring is all over the place.
