This happened at one of our trackdays a while back, nasty. Goes to show how ineffective 'normal' seats and belts are.

to be honest, it looks more like as soon as it started to go, he came off the power completely and slammed the anchor on, which was why the turning did fuck all...

Should of just put his foot down and he would of been gone.

He did pop out of the seat abit, looked like my toast in the morning.

Kind of. I'm doing my dissertation on THINK! seat belt advertising and tbh, if they weren't wearing seat belts it would have been pretty bad. I'd say they did the job pretty well myself.

yup, I bet he'll be saying he should have done X Y Z too, but hindsight is a funny thing.

That corner catches a few folk out. Esp when you lift early like that. In the skyline i try and keep the power down till its straight for the next corner, then brake. Its not always possible if you get air borne over duffus and you end up on the outside of the track

I have done a huge spin in the corsa there before... earlier in the corner, coming down the hill. Been off at the next corner in 205, corsa and skyline doh
