What products would people use to remove swirl marks on a black car? It's got to be products that I can use by hand

scratch x mate, but you need to work it a lot, only a small ammount and a good few applications should see a result

Not easy to remove by hand - try something like Poorboys SSR.
To fill / hide them - AG SRP or Poorboys Black Hole Glaze.

As Rich H said, though i think you will have a job removing them by hand.
Colour magic and T-cut are very harsh IMO and i would only use them once, use them too much and you will go through the paint.

Klearcote vanilla hand moose....as mentioned above wont remove them but will gently mask them.
