looks alright TBH, as long as the brace is properly bolted in. standard seat belt rails aren't that thick either.

i would never put in life in the hand's of a bolt in strut brace..

let alone a THIN ALLOY one, like that one..

I've seen people using a shock top strut brace as an anchor point

If the crash was that bad to tear the strut brace off, you would be dead anyway IMO

If they went to the effort of taking the rear seats out, why the fuck did they not just bolt them to the old seatbelt mounting points on the floor...

Theres strut braces and then theres curtain rails. He has a curtain rail.

I've seen countless rear ended corsa's where the distance between the strut tops is either much bigger or much smaller than factory specifications

I can't be arsed registering on there...

Someone please offer to kick the strut in the middle to show him how piss weak it is & charge him for the privilege...

Alternatively I can always find him next time I'm over that way and do it myself

Even if it was steel surely it's not made for a load pulling it that way, the load is from strut to strut.
