looks alright TBH, as long as the brace is properly bolted in. standard seat belt rails aren't that thick either.

Theres strut braces and then theres curtain rails. He has a curtain rail.

I've seen countless rear ended corsa's where the distance between the strut tops is either much bigger or much smaller than factory specifications

Someone please offer to kick the strut in the middle to show him how piss weak it is & charge him for the privilege...

Even if it was steel surely it's not made for a load pulling it that way, the load is from strut to strut.
