do you have to be a certain age to get insured with brentacre? my brothers 17 and just passed his test so just wondered.
also, are there any other decent insurance companies for 17 year olds?

Elephant were cheapest for me when I first started driving, then after that was Admiral with the Ibiza

try adrian flux, that was the cheapest by far for.
brentacres good if you have driving experience (1 year)

They may still quote him though I didnt meet their age requirements only being 18 but they still gave me a quote, was very high though.
Tried Quinn mate? They have been the cheapest by miles for me!

Really nice company to deal with I thought with very helpful staff on the end of the phone. A lot better than Adrian Flux's customer service imo. They didnt seem to give a damn whether I got insurance through them or not

Last year i paid £1700 Fully comp with directline i was the same age as your brother. That was on a 1.0 Litre corsa. Although the charge alot of excess.
They have a excess of £350 because you brought over the internet! Then for me another £450 excess "young driver excess", my voluntary excess is £800! I am going to drive much slower lol.

Mate I got quotes like that, in the end paid £1315 with Lloyds TSB.
Got an email quote for £395 with Flux for this year though, rang earlier but was on hold for ages and never got through

try www.tiger.co.uk i used this site after quick fit insurance sales man recommended it to me and came back with really cheap quotes alot cheaper then go compare ect were coming back with
