I have been looking on Astra Owners Club and there is alot of Mk4's on there but not my taste. Lets see what you have

not bad for a 1.8 in a big car, noticed a difference when rims went on though. did 130, its got a shorter box then a 2.2, thats why the stats arnt far off

1.8 hatches are quite nippy, only have to do vectra-c intake mod really

i have a 1.8 convertable, with vxr replica 18's,gsi bumper,irmscher rear spats,irmscher rear spoiler,opc grill and coilovers i personally love it

I did long run and wasnt getting anywhere near... i get about 25mpg if im lucky

My old 2.0 SRi, nice reliable car, not rapid but fairly nippy, shit on fuel though!

If i were to have another id go for either the 1.8 or 2.2

I really do fancy swapping my Corsa for one of these asap

1.8 would do, seem waaaay more reliable than the 2.2's, I'd be mega wary of the chains snapping due to this oil starvation thingy whatsit lol
