anyone on here own/owned one?
im thinking of buying one, it's monaco blue (i think that's what it's called).
same colour as the williams. it's done 111k.
always liked these, just wanted to see what other people thought of them if they had owned one.
it's either this or another S1 106 rallye im thinking of going for.

i owned one, was fantastic handling, and had very good brakes, headgaskets prone to go beyond 90K. not a simple job either. would make a good track car, i often had mine on 3 wheels

i've heard the electrics can be quite bad, did you have any problems with yours?

Yes, electric window switches, and heater fan controls used to pack up, also had problems with my sunroof.

2 mates have had the 1.8 8v RSi's ant not had any issues.
Gerbox went in another mates 1.8 16v
Great fun imo. When I drove my mates RSI I didn't feel too safe going round corners.

i had mine on its roof lift off oversteer out of the blue and crash not good but would own another lol

Mate had an RSi, had done 136k - drove like it had done half of that, reasonably quick too

The torsion bar on them is 100% easier than the 106 one
