DRC was shot and has been for ages, finally got round to claiming for it on my warranty! Replaced the DRC with H&R coilovers and Hotchkis ARB's with a 70mm drop all round (although it was a little lower than it should be as all the suspension components were shot!)

While it was in I also had new discs and pads all round, a new drivers side intercooler as it was leaking, a gearbox remap to suit the engine map and blade wipers (but OE stuff with new arms of the X Country Audi)

Before

After

Some other pics

Think it definitely looks lower and it handles miles better now!!! Had a play with an E55 AMG the other night and it wasn't even a race! Couldn't believe how easy I left it to be honest! Got the bug for more now though!!!

Haha, not got a clue!!! Get my Driftbox tomorrow so I will get some proper figures!!! Now the boost leak has been sorted and the box has been done I reckon it will do 60 in around 4 and 100 around 9!

£4.5k Jeeesus.

I'd hate to buy one of them without warranty, they seem to be massive money pits.

I feel less bad about 7k for a new engine now, if that's what it costs for suspension and brakes alone on an RS6

Exactly! Purchase price isn't half the story!!!

Standard the TVR would probably have had it! Now Ive had these few bits done I reckon the TVR would have no chance purely because in the RS6 its so easy AND it doesn't matter whether its wet or dry!

Driving thrills are a different story though, the TVR was so loud, light and dangerous its very hard to beat! The RS6 is the sort of car where you look at the clock and think "christ Im doing 160" whereas the TVR would need 100% concentration all the time!
