would have been worth less with a bollocksed ferrari engine

Also the ZLET will be much lighter than teh Ferrari engine.

i was disapointed with the performance of a 355 when i drove one at donington.

Each to the own, bet it would fly with a well tuned LET, the ferrari's always seem to be quite low on torque

I swear they limit them / de tune them / stop you from driving them properly, so the engines last longer.

12.8 1/4 mile

ok not ferrari 430 scuderia standards, but 12.8 is still a far bit quicker than say typical 'performance cars' that will do 14-16 secs 1/4 mile.

this is a random graph of my old mk3 astra against a modified 355 that happened to be on the rollers before me

notice the torque delivery difference. (355 blue)(astra red) plus my run was aborted early on that occasion usually revved to 8000rpm

how many girls/boys (pld and young) turn round and say wow at your astra again and dont think your a boyracer tho.

its not all about speed/torque with ferrari's its sryle and design.

even if it was proven that an astra could go round a track quicker and was 100mph faster than a ferrari, i'd still have a ferrari

why jumping on the defensive? I put that graph merely for adding to the thread about an LET in a Ferrari.

Even tho I am a Ferrari hater, prefer Porsches / Lambo's a lot more, much more drivers cars rather than status symbols
