One of these daft posts again.... The skyline gets mapped at some point this week (if a small problem gets sorted and another doesnt rear its head)

So guestimate for the following two...

Map1 - Vpower

Map2 - Vpower / E85 mix (prob 10-20%)

Car Spec:

Skyline R32 GTR RB26DETT
Garret GT 2860R-5 turbos (hopefully 1.6bar)
Apexi PowerFC D-Jetro
800cc injectors
standard cams
turbo back straight though exhaust

rest of the spec wont really make much difference :/

E85 - Bioethenol - about 105octane. Essentially using it as an octane booster for now.

Iaz - you can prob run a small amount without mapping, but I wouldnt personally

good spec... 400bhp in the light arse of the GTSt will be a handfull

740's hehehe - bit extreme for that state of tune! plenty of head room though i suppose

I wonder what it will be like on fuel though I was getting around 27mpg with careful driving, but down to 11 while booting it on the mountain roads of wales

if its mapped well, not different to normal. I'f your using the power though

We get about 280 miles to a tank of V power unmapped/running rich. About 65l tank i think

i run mine on v power and never had problems, so never used the extra octane booster....

is it worth a try?
