im buying an old shape sport next week but the only thing i dont like on it is the steering wheel. i think it lets the interior down. i was looking at getting a momo wheel and was wondering how difficult they would be to fit? cheers

ok cool cheers for the advice. is it just a case of taking the cap off and does it have a nut behind it or something? and then lining up the new wheel correctly.

Is it the old 2 spoke, non airbag wheel? If so, pop the horn button out, there'll be a nut behind, take it off but then, and don't forget, put the nut back on about 2 threads, don't forget or you may look a bit different after the next step.
You need to pull the old steering wheel off, it'll be tight so you might need to try a few different techniques before it works. Once the old wheel is off, put the new boss on, tighten the nut then the streering wheel generally bolts on with allen bolts (usually included)

Don't forget to make sure the wheels are straight when you take the steering wheel off too

buy a tool to remove for what ever or yank off for free?
i'd rather use the free method, as i'll prob never use the puller again

They don't all come of easily, Two vauxhall technicians took half an hour with a puller to get mine off.
