Was at my local trade warehouse and they only have these brands that I could see.

Either of these any good, or is it only worth flushing an engine with it instead of running it for 10k on?

Cheers

Valvoline's a good make as far as I know. Wouldn't have thought that Carlube was a great make though.

Carlube is as good as any other semi-synthetic oil for your Corsa.

cunningham - cheers

SVM - Course I had The packaging is shite though, just looks crap (as opposed to Castrol looking good? )

Rich - It was def £42 before from Vaux dealer, 5l 10W-40 semi-syn

Warren - its not high performance or anything but it is a 'Y'20DTH, so X and Z codes dont do anything for me I am thinking of remapping it soon though, any opinions on that and different oils to use?

errr Y

werent many Y code engine, so i dont actualy know the offical oil!

but everything that comes it gets 5-30 as thats whats in the 'taps'

i think with trade card its alot cheaper, how much i dunno

10-40 will be fine, depends on mileage, if doing 20k between services id say use fully syn

They usually take about 5.5, sometimes more. You may need to get a couple or get a 5l bottle and 1l on its own.

Autovaux does GM oil cheap, I also got some from my local Vaux dealer though 5 litres semi synth 10-40.

£30 or £14 if you buy the oil and filter deal.

Clearly I had the filter too lol.
