I think subarus sound better with standard exhausts to be perfectly honest.
Its the in-your-face BUB BUB BUB BUB BUB exhaust sound that gave the car the chav status.

I do agree though that they sound amaizing with the proper burble Once you get a huge bore it goes down the pan.

Mine was a pain to fit Andy i don't blame ya! I must admit though the standard cooler is crap and it was nice knowing the inlet temps were a shit load lower than they were before.

That sounds nice mate but mine was different

Yours is more 'whooshy' I could control the flutter with the throttle really easily and it used to go on for ages..

I'll try and find a tube vid of what it was like..

Well kind of yeah..100% wastgate duty Just on the limit..next step was uprated turbo and wastegate etc.

Mine didn't sound as aggresive as that i'm sure that car in the vid is maybe 500 brake ish?

I could hold back on the throttle and keep it at a point where it was still boosting and not making much vacum so it would flutter for ages got better when it was hot to

God I miss that car
