i brought my corsa about a month ago off a member off here and its spent more time in the air then on the ground. Firstly he said that the head gasket was gone so i brought new cam belt kit and headgasket kit, then while fitting it we came across lots of problems e.g rounded off bolts. then when we got the head off we found out the head gasket was fine so, that was a waste of money. now its all set back up and running, the rev limiter is at 5k instead of 6.5k so i took it the garage have it plugged in more money and there was a air leak on the inlet which ive fixed because there was a bolt missing, and the knocking sensor is knackerd. he said this would be the reason why its put its self in safe mode so im having the knocking sensor done tomorrow.

but i was just wondering if anybody can back this up, because i dont really want to waste any more money

who said it needs all of this? the seller?

cant help you much other than say if your not sure on what your doing then have a garage with a good reputation look it over, might cost you less in the long run and if it doesnt, at least it will be sorted

Lets be fair, I don't wanna offend anyone, but it did look battered lol... you can't expect perfection off old cars as much as I wish we could
