Hi all just turnd 18 last week so time for a new car as my current corsa needs a lot of work. Bought a 2000 106 Gti in Diablo red. Its in mint condition not a mark on it!.


Wat do you guy's think. Been able to insure fullycomp for firts time aswell!..

But still keeping my V-reg White Sport as a project!.. Just needs tyding up. Put maby i will sell up.. dnno yet. Comments welcome on my new beast!.

He didn't have it that long, he's gone to Australia and had to sell up.

He did look after it, its pretty loud, very well looked after though.

He's a member on here mate, Click on "Owners Garage" at the top of the screen and type Jas in.

He's from aberwystrwth (sp) Where did you get it from? I liked it yeh, very clean.

To be honest, Gti's are built for it.

I got in mine today after taxing it - not driven it for 5 months.

It just wants to accelerate.

I was trying to short shift at like 3k rpm, but it just wanted to keep revving, so just nailed it to 7k odd for each change

The car loves it.

I hope it will be faster and handle better than the 1.6 sport. but i do love the corsa for looks and drivebilaty.

The only thing the Corsa will have over the 106 is AC and pedals that arent tiny and offset
