I also think these are one of few cars that look better from the back than the front.

Love their road presence too

Erm... Buying you can't really put a proper price on. He px'd his C200 +£800 but he'd been struggling to sell the C200 and he'd dropped it down to £2000 just before this deal. So going by that £2800 although that would've been very cheap at the time.

2 1/2 years on he sold it for £2100.

A more accurate view would probably be that the C200 cost him £5.6k about 4 1/2 years ago, plus the £800 with the px would be £6.4k. So both would work out at about £4.3k over 4 1/2 years which sounds more realistic.

One of the coolest big cars ever imo - would love to own one one day.

Just noticed some of the "retro" features such as the tape changer and phone in the centre armrest etc lol.

Still look so cool though - one of those and an Audi S8 as used in Ronin, and I'd be very happy

My dads was just over 70k new exactly 10 years ago, he bought it 3 months ago of a guy who paid 13k for it 3 years ago.

Just to make it clear my dad didnt pay 70k for it, he paid £2,500

Been on Autotrader yesterday scoping the A8 market, then remembered how much i want a 750il and had a peak.

£2.5k gets u a decent spec pre facelift. Mental money

Would love a B12 in Estoril or velvet blue
