mike what exactly needs doing to your m3? im with jambo on this one i had a nova as a first car and it just rotted away despite being kept in a heated garage.

the nova will be a fun drive but then my mates e36 m3 with fast road setup and stripped interior is an absolute weapon!and think about how many old bmws you see on the road still compared to novas? my mates m3 has 150k on the clock now, goes to the odd track day and still is fine as his daily driver

how many mint novas do you see compared to bmw's of similar age though? see hundreds more knackered bmw's. and it not look twice at a g reg bmw. always do at novas though.

honestly i see more mint bmws than novas, theres 1 or 2 mint e30 m3s and plenty of tidy e36 m3s round here and i cant remember the last time i saw a nova on the road let alone 1 in good condition which is my point, even the old banger bmws are still going strong and a common site on the roads

common = boring

mint nova = rarer

my views entirely, not suggesting thats a fact. nova would be cheaper to run by miles than an m3. also a lot more fun to drive from my own experiences.

again though, if mike wants a nova and not an m3, i guess thats what he wants.

He's only doing this as with the money left over he can clear debts and still have a decent car, nothing wrong with doing that.

You own an BMW M3, but can't afford to run it, so your looking to swap it with... a Nova?

Champagne Tastes and Beer Money springs to mind!

/edit - Just seen your FS advert, doesn't look like its that expensive to sort the 'niggles'?

id get a nova they are fun, but dont swap the m3 for one, i sold one that had been fully re-sprayed with a xe on twin 45 for 1800, i think the nova is over priced. much rather spend a bit more and get a turbo

2k scooby, everything will be about ready to drop off and cost loads. also cost a lot more to run than a nova. fuel for an xe nova is pretty good. a std impreza is rubbish on petrol. let along a knackered 2k one.
