Cams, Fuel Pressure regulator thingy 4 branch and full system 3"bore will it make 200bhp there or there abouts? i am dubious about this but

Remapped? If not 170 at best, if so about 180 tops! There's no way he'd make 200bhp without Carbs/TB's.

3" bore on a NA low specc'd XE

That'll probably loose it mroe power than it gains. Thats tuned Turbo sized exhaust territory

And an XE can make 200bhp without TB

He knows the bore is to big but thats what the manifold was so the lad who had it before him made the exhaust to fit

He is changing it to 2"1/2

not a chance of even 180bhp and with them small mods it will need remap or chip to handle the increase in fuel etc then it would possibly see 180 but nowhere near 200bhp

I have a 2.5" Bore on mine from the decat back, Air filter I always say it will run at standard power.

when i had mine it made 160bhp and 160 lbs/ft.
this had ported & polished head, induction kit and shitty exhaust system. RR'd at Surrey Rolling Road

Your absolutly positive enough to re-quote it????

Dammmmmmmm, Vauxhall lied about the C20let that uses exactly the same inlet manifold to flow 204bhp in standard trim....

Standard inlet has been proved to flow just shy of 400bhp.... So where di you get max of 200bhp from..?

The inlet isn't the issue. And yes an XE can make 200bhp, with the right modifications, and money. The major restriction is 1 throttle body. Right cams, right exhaust, right map, head work etc.. Can make 200bhp.

Been proved by Swindon Race engines, who built Vauxhalls Super BTCC engines, and Formula Vauxhall. I'll trust them ta
