no it was because we thought the paint had faded if you remember, i was beasting it with paint renovator untill we realised that it was primer.

UPDATES UPDATES UPDATES!!

Not been in the progress thread for a while. This will change over Christmas

Where to start..

Not done anything with Corsa for months, just enjoyed it really. Of the top of my head all

i've done is fitted a Cav SRi RARB.

Now onto the good stuff. I bought a car off a mate, who's also a member on here (RossyB)

Here's a pic.

Didn't get any pictures after i bought it, don't know why!

My intentions where to take the whole car about, fix a few niggly bits, tax, MOT and enjoy.

After a couple days of umming and arring and taking the white one to peices.

I decided i'm going to be throwing to much money at it and decided to strip and sell the

white one, rebuilt the xe and throw it into the black one

As you can see, theres ball joints, track rod ends, wheels bearings, oil, oil filter, aux

belt, underseal, pollen filter, fuel filter, coolant, gearbox oil, spark plugs, m tech short

shift, oil cooler, magnetic sump plug, complete gasket rebuilt kit, heat wrap and bonnet

pins.

After taking the engine to pieces i found the clutch was a little battered, as was the

release bearing in the gearbox.

Last few things i need to buy are:

Type 2 mounting kit
Thermastat and housing (i broke the other)
Clutch and bearing
Also need to pick my hubs up from local garage who have put the bearings in.

Lastly, i had the wheels lying about so i thought i'd try them on the black one, ill let the

pictures speak

Will update soon whenever stuff arrives, gets picked up or when i start taking more stuff

looks alreet on the slabs, needs smaller profile tyres though, guessing the balloons are legal though.... good luck with fitting everything into the blackun

The tyres are 50's, same as on the cesaros. They do look a lot bigger on the slabs though..

All the kit will be coming off for a respray too, it was caribic blue underneath and its started peeling though. Want it mint for PVS!
