considering the rules are baised towards diesels to encourage them its just silly, the pescalaros are the fastest petrols at the moment and are no where near the pace of the dervs.

Ive always had alot of respect for Henri sticking with petrols, main reason pescarolo have always been my favourite team in the lmp1 class. In the article it basically says that aston want to show off their road car engines, the engine in the LMP1 car will be that of the dbr9, and want the challenge of beating diesels with a petrol engine and trying to show off the skills of the british engineering team. Good luck to them I say! Should be interesting anyway.

This is interesting.
I'll be supporting them, but expect them to get trounced by the pugs and audi's.
Should be a good race aston v pescarolo though.
I wonder if the GT1's will suffer as a result of most of the effort going towards the prototypes?

Dervs are having more restrictions this year to make them closer.

Will they still run in the GT1 class though? I have always enjoyed the corvette and astons rivalry
