I know for an evo that had paint stripper thrown over it, that went through insurance, full respray was needed, and 10months on its still in the body shop!

Normally with that work, i'd say a 2/3 days. As I did a 306 rear door and sill a couple of years ago when I did work experience for a company, was in and out with in 2 days. So it depends how good the bodyshop is I guess. But insurance companies normally give bodyshops 2 days to work.
If that helps atall.

Work wise, not long. How quickly the insurance company deal with it is another story

Thats not bad...its just that its booked in for Eibachs, a RARB and new exhaust system next Tuesday. I think i'm dreaming if I think thats going to happen now!
The guy who picked it up said that it usually takes up to 5 days for the work to start once they get the car, as they have to give the quote to the insurance company and they have to okay it etc.

I would cancel that as I don't see it happening.

it's quite an easy repair tbh mate, new door, if there's a dent on quater panel then get that out, and paint and blend it. I think you'll be seeing the VXR by Friday imo.
