Mate of mines had two, a phase 1 and a phase 2
Both amazing cars but the phase 2 he says was alot easier to drive but still could be a handfull when it wanted to be!

You really are asking in the wrong place, join up to Cliosport and look at the buying guide.
No disrespect to anyone on here but its mostly going to be hear say and mindless French comments.
Pretty specialist car to buy so I would seriously be doing my homework before buying one and maybe looking at a few too.

Lots of cat D's/c's out there so bargains are to be had. Phase 2's had different geometry and tyres which made it much easier to drive and phase 2's hold their values bette too.

One of my all time dream cars. But id need to win the lottery 1st.
As said most of them have been written off in theyr life, due to the fact its about £2k for a front wing iirc.
Remember seeing 1 on top gear. The turning circle was worse than a range rover and on the limit they were uncontrollable.

Very nice cars, i've always liked them but would be too scared of getting one incase people just think its a kitted up clio. As said they aren't very fast, but from what i've heard they are great fun.
Phase 2 in that yellowy colour for me any day

the first ones apparently were crap, under powered and handled like shit, the new ones are much better powered and handle better.

I think that as cars go, they're pretty cool. However, the Clio 182 is quicker around a track and not as twitchy for day-to-day use.
