It annoys me when parents pay for everything:
"How much was the tax on your car?"
"Dunno, Dad paid it for me".

Yep, know what you mean. I don't think I know one person who's paid for their own car and insurance. or aren't on their parents insurance. Im the only one I know around here who bought their own car, and pays for their OWN insurance - no parents on it. Its paid of tho Can get half last years price, and fully comp, instead of TPFT

Well I'm gunna hold my hands up and say in my school days Mum and Dad helped me out a little (paid for 6 months tax and an MOT, and the odd tenner of petrol), but I still bought my car outright and paid for the insurance.

Yeah the Omega is mine.. I saw him coming and I could see he wasnt looking at me at all; so I braked and swerved and he just drove straight into the side of me.

Makes me sick.. When kids parents put it all on a plate for them by buying a relatively new car, taxing it and insuring it they take it for granted and dont have the same respect as the rest of us..
I just home my neck is still giving me grief tomorrow because I know I wont get what my car is worth
