They don't normally work with modern ecu's, the ecu will just adjust the boost itself to account for that.

would probably bring limp mode on aswell thinking about it

thats £££ for a single stage boost controller. i had a hks evc 6, think it had 3-4 stages to it. also these are better with management/piggy back, to go with them, so the can work better with the map.
