What difference do they make ? Say if they was going onto a 1.6 16v

They'll allow it to rev more, safely. I wouldn't want to rev any more than 7.5k with standard rod bolts, but I'd happily go to 8.5 or so with them, if there was power there to be had.

there just to make the bottom end abit stronger when you have the rev limiter raised. very recommended.

you'd only rev to 7.5k really with the arp rod bolts and stock rods, rods are quite good, but wouldnt say they would last long at 8.5k definately!
