Hi ive now got a smooth petrol cap on my corsa B b and wondering how people who have the same go on opening when you need to get petrol? i tried using a screw driver but it was kinda iced up and i ended up scapping i tiny bit of paint of is there a easier way?

People put their nail in the edge and flick it open.
Pinch the rubber and pull.
Wire up a solenoid like someone on here has.

Its much easier pulling up the back seat, taking the plastic cover off the fuel tank, disconnecting the wiring, and taking off the fuel pipes, then put the fuel in. IMO never used the filler cap.

Since people seem to smooth off the original "cup"(dont know what to call it lol) has anyone tried recessing the "cup" instead?

Yea I thought I didn't explain that well lol

As in there is a small pocket you put your finger in to pull the flap open....

was just an idea but probably just sounds stupid lol

If you have a locking cap, is the locking loop not directly behind the 'cup'?
So recessing it would mean altering that too...

Cant see it working,
