I actually remember going around the track on my 1st or 2nd ever lap back in 2007, and I saw these 2 porsche gt3 rs's one white, one black Going ABSOLUTELY mentally fast past me, and watched them go down the fox hole completely flat out up each others arse!

I was like wow...

And wow, it's a bloody good video! These 2 porsche gt3 rs's going around fucking quick...

and noticed at 2:12 they catch up my blue 106 gti to be fair I was dawdling like a granny back then as it was like one of my first ever laps of the track back in 2007. But still it shows the true pace of a awesome car like the porsche gt3 rs!

Thats actually a really good,clear video.And they arent half going for it.Wonder how many laps its took them to get that good and know the track so well.

Is that an L plate on your car??

May as well be ... it's a GB sticker. That was one of my first laps round and my first experiences of 'how fast people can go around the ring' when those 2 overtook me (I got the video of them going past somewhere at home). I think that lap I did was a pitaful 10 mins 50 or something

considering I'm now close to the sub 9 minute mark I think i've improved a fair bit. However, still nothing like the pace of the porsches!

2.24 is roughly the end of aremburn and the start of the foxhole, so diffiult to carry alot of speed down there, as it seems to want to spit the car out at the other end

Wow that is pace for you. Probably one of the quickest vid i have seen of the ring on a normal day with normal ish supercars ( ie not pagani zondas with v12s and made of carbon fibre)

OJC, I'm shocked in this vid how well the Astra VXR keeps up - especially on the straights. However, saying that... I just looked at BTG time of that vid... it's around 9 min 14 ... what my car did last year I'd of loved to have had a race like that with a GT3 and stayed with it on my lap!

Fucking hell I need a good car, or at least my one to be improved substaintially.

I can't wait to go to the ring with you chaps... can someone PLEASE u2u me the hotel / guest house you're staying at haha
