You can as long as it's not special order same as most places afaik.

I ordered an Irmscher mug, over the phone. They took payment. Then decided to ring me and say it's out of stock, but there isn't one. I didn't want that mug, so I said refund. It took over 14 days. . .for a cheque to arrive

At our place if its a stock item we usually keep in we'll take it back

Special ordered parts youve got no chance

Also electrical items we'll never take back!

they do take things back,
for example my mate bought a ball joint £58 then realised he didnt need it and took it back they gave him £36 back, says they keep the rest because of handling fees??? he too k it back the same day
