Easier than you imagine, just remember to give way to the left at roundabouts. You don't tend to see many roundabouts outside of Calais and you have to remember at junctions that cars will be coming the opposite ways to you are used to, that is the hardest thing to remember.

Oh and pulling into junctions you have to go to the second entrance not the first one.

Yer it was roundabouts that I thought would be the biggest headfuck good to here there isnt too many of them

do you not remember our trip back in the astra when we took the motorway? and we had to come off and join other motorways a million times, they were kinda like roundabouts.

I constantly forgot, to the annoyance of my passenger

Although, when I did a big long overtake on the left side of the road, it felt so normal again to me... I just sat on the left lane for about 30 secs passing loads of traffic and to me it felt like the guys I were overtaking were in the wrong lane

Paul,

In response to your u2u we are staying in a flat/apartment outside Adenau which is booked up. Warren/Gavin/Butler etc are staying in another apartment in Adenau so if you can find somewhere near there superb.

I know Rory was interested in coming again, I spoke to him on MSN the other day.

chaps,

for those of you interested in a trackwalk on Saturday or Sunday please put your name down. It costs 49 EUR per person, lasts 2 hours (7pm - 9pm) - read:

quote:

A 90 minute tour on the old Nordschleife in a minivan. The trackwalk informs about the tracks history, the technical aspects for driving (RSRNurburgs specialty) and the safety issues for driving the track during public opening hours.

Experienced racing drivers will show you the ideal line which is influlenced by cambers, elevation changes and differences in griplevels due to tarmac which never can be thought from within a classroom.

You will be shown:

* The famous sections like swedenkruez flugplatz, carrusell and hohe acht.
* The 300 meter of elevation changes
* The ideal line for car (and when needed for Bikes)
* The different types of tarmac
* The rules during a public day
* How to drive in maximum safety, where to watch out for. The danger spots and why.
* Advice on behaviour between bikers and drivers
* How to behave and what to do in case of an accident

You will hear detailed information on the over 80 years of Nordschleife history with highlights and lowlights.

Need to get names down and start sorting out funds as they will want money upfront to confirm your place....
