You would pay about £100 for a second hand set

funny guy.

and nooo i wernt for your knowledge. various other people i spoke to sold them at that price, and i bought them for more than that price.

go do some price research on how much they cost. 130 is good for MHW that are new.

I just cant understand why folk would pay that kind of money for 2 rear lights.

Same with smoked Depos.

If you don't like the price then don't buy them. They are extremely popular and have a huge demand, hence the price. You won't get smoked MHW's for £30-40 like the clear/blue ones.

Its usually the opposite of that, that warrants a high price tag.

Ok, so nobody wants them, so to make them sell they put the price up. If there were enough of them for all the people that wanted them, then the price would be better because they are more readily available, so people want to compete with prices more. Because there aren't enough, people can charge as much as they like and people that want them enough will pay it.

It's a bit like when there's not enough petrol, prices go up, and then when we get more oil, the price goes down again.

you have no clue about supply and demand whatsoever do you?

short supply + high demand = higher prices.

huge supply + low demand = lower prices (need to sell of stock cheaper).

its not a hard concept to grasp. it's how every single business in the world works

Well to me,extemely popular means there is alot of them out theyr, wether they are for sale or not.So if theyr was a high demand, that must mean huge supply + huge demand.Fair prices.

I;ll still stick to my original comment that 2 rear lights arent worth between £130-£200.

Mobby seems to have alot.So they cant be that hard to get a hold of.And he wont be selling them for little profit.

SA rears are rarer and sell for less.

Yeah ive seen them, and imo they are much nicer. They dont have all the seperate sections in the actual unit. Its the various colours that puts me off them. They dont blend in.
