Basically wanting to get a new car, currently got a corsa sport 1.4. Got between 4-5k to spend. Like the look of the Golf MK4 GT TDI 130 Highline version. Maximum insurance group 13, not older than 6-8 years.

Any help would be good!

Depends what you need it for really.

You can pick up pre-facelift CTR's for that much.

Golf sounds like a good shout though.

comfy but with some performance to. Thats why i was looking at the golf as comes with leathers etc, but has some performance to! just thinking if theres any thing else?

Within the next 2-3 months.

Its a 2002 with 105k miles.

Not sure how much, 4 grand probably would be what id hope for, its cost me double that & ive had it for only 14 months.

I paid 6500 & its had wheels, coilovers, & genuine VW anni front lights & spoiler fitted.

Its higher than average but I dont believe people buy diesels to do average miles in them.

I looked at about 8 mk4 tdi's seen on AT & Pistonheads & this one was the best I could find at the time.

yeah that is true, im looking for one with between 60-75k on the clock theres one on AT atm, but still in two minds as to what to actually get. I saw yours an was thought i want i want. but then i look at the punto jtdm 1.9 130 an think i like that to! an ibiza fr, and now a megane bloody annoying!
