AFT, not knocking IAZ at all for the efforts put in, but i saw it in Demon Tweeks once and the finish wasn't really the best.

Having said that, not seen anyone that ever did as much balls-out stuff DIY.

Yes, the effort put in was loads, and big respect for him doing it himself...

But a proffessional job it was not.

200bhp is funny.

Whats wrong with not using a powercap barter????

Iaz never said it was a professional job - he did it himself, in a barn and iirc it was before he set up the proper spray booth etc. I'm sure Iaz would never profess to being a professional - he's an ameteur with a passion and he did a significantly better job than anyone else on the site could do.

You can't compare Jag-Corsa to Donna's; Iaz was more time and effort; Donna's was chequebook and thought

built in a barn? respect for that.agree with your comment about a better job than most people.would have some weird lines on that kit if it was me fitting it.

If anyone knew anything about the engines you'll know you need TB to make that power.

Plate is fine, it means you don't have to cut your bulkhead. In my eyes, not cutting a bulkhead in favour of loosing 3-4 peak bhp is well worth it

Donnas was chequebook at thought yup..... 8 years later, its still exactly the same, never had any sinkings, no problem with anything, un-even paint finishes, bumps n lumps in the paintwork. And you saying a girl removing her own F28 gearbox is chequebook working (although most of it is yes).

As i've found myself when I went to a poor bodyshop, you get exactly what you pay for. This is now dead, Donnas it very much still alive.........

shame its got to and end but like any highly modded car like this they do get damaged on the roads, i know mine did and it did 12k + miles each year and that looked like a trailer car, what you get for big kits and big wheels, saying that mine wasnt too bad considering nearly all of the work was done in my garage at home and never went to a big company and had cheques thrown out to get the work done, so it shows not everything needs to go to big bodyshops for the work to be done.

thats were every ones opinion is differnt not everyone likes the same route etc.as for me.powercap anyday over the plate.and looks alot better.even down to the pipe comin off it better than the bend you get with the plate.and yeh tb's are needed hence my comment doubt its 200bhp.

Jag-Corsa was the car that took the bodykit world that step further, also your saying about the finish...he didnt paint it if iirc, he did most of the work and was a novice at the time. Also your on about donnas corsa....that car doesnt get damaged like that by going over speed bumps...its had a crash...if donnas car had a smack it would look that bad. That car deseved to be put in a bubble as it was the start of something big in the modified car scene.....and also, the effort that went into that car doesnt deserve some pikey stripping it.

I only mentioned Donnas corsa as someone else did.

How do you know how well D5 goes over speed bumps It doesn't go over any speed bumps, and you want to see how much material is needed just to get it out of a garage

The modified car scence was already big, this wasn't a ground breaking car imo.

I only mentioned Donna's in the context of being a modified car of the same calibre (both are highly modified and very well known) but gone about in different ways with a difference in the end result. I also only used Donna's as it was in response to your comment so used a car that you could relate to
