i just bought my pressed plates from there, i thought the vinyl plates were illegal no matter what, unless there on a car before a certain year?

It says its illegal because its sold as a kit so you could make any old number plate up. Id be lookin for a printed one on legal reflective background

I think as long as you have the vinyl printed at UK standard ie: plate size, font, font size ect. then it's legal.
The only thing that makes it illegal is if the vinyl isn't flat. That's what I was told when I had a vinyl plate.
