i am wanting the engine suppiled + fitted. Im after a 1.6 16v and i would be greatful if you could give me a idea on the cost and how long i would be without a car

prob best going for a 2.0 beardy can do it all for between 1k and 1.5k dependant upon whats availible at the time

i asked beardy before and he wanted around £750 for a drive in drive out conversion for a 1.4 16v in my silver corsa..

You'll pay more insuring a converted 1.6 than a corsa that came standard with a 1.6

as theres no real major mods to your car just bolt on stuff, i think it would be better buying a clean silver 1.6 sport and putting all your bits onto it..

just my opinion though matey

not really, not if you have the engine checked over before it goes in, will probably be more realible if anything

im in the same boat mate but i would make sense for you to but a silver sport and swap your bits over but for me its impossible to find the same colour car with a 1.6 in and swap my bits over.

iv u2ud beardy about a 1.6 conversion last week but has not getting back to me yet.

i wud defo recomend buying a 1.6 already! i just to love my corsa 1.2 untilli put a 1.6 gsi conversion in it! nothing but a pain in the arse! i wud never even consider a convered car again!

yeah beardy removed my engine's didnt seem to help much really,just personal experence, heard lots of good about him aswell!
