yup tell me about it, cleaned my car yesterday, and now the back of my car is black and reallly rough to touch..

I'd rather have a system like Germany where we had to put winter tyres on, and had less salt dumped on the roads.

I hate it especially as my car's an import and therefore not undersealed

the motorways are just a sea of white!

my mates car is not undersealed either lol

really awful keeping a car clean

some of grit being chucked down is huge stones as well

is it not a more coarse salt there putting down this year there was debate on the old cavie site against the dredded tin worm

round our way they have spend thousands of pounds on new gritting equipment and quite honestly it sucks! i'd rather walk

Its been dry too recently so its not getting washed away, its just layer after layer of salt

yeah the salt is anoying but im thankfull for it as one of my friends was killed in the holls due to there been no salt on the roads

Its good in a way, but in other ways (dirty cars) its VERY annoying, keep having to wipe my numberplate

they use pre-wet salt now and it's suppose to rot cars quicker too. According to vw and bmw.

We've seen that people can't handle a bit of frost without crashing so imagine the chaos without salt, winter tyres or not.

Fucking hell jacko thats horendous! There is a tonne of salt on the roads down here but dont drive that far to have my car caked in it! saw a 1 series today an couldnt tell if it was blue or grey! utter shite!
