Was very bored today and the car was dirty so i took the only chance ive had since i got the car to have a good poke around it. (only had Xmas day and new years day off work)
The plug lead cover was slightly shitty so i sanded it, primed it and had a choice of either red or white paint. I went with red. The rocker cover gasket is leaking so when that off i'l paint the rocker white.

I G3'd and polished the car too. Meguiers (spelling) Caranuba wax - its the shhhiiizzzzz.

i love old mint cavvys.
wee tip though, fitting gsi interiors to them is a cunt. Well the rear bench is. Everything else goes in fine!

I did it on Xmas day actually and ive not had a chance to wax it since so its not a great finish.
Usually takes a good couple hours but my god is it worth it!

I think the £50 i spent on an E reg Nova saloon with 34k on the clock was just marginally better value for money. Only just though
