Jesus christ it's slippy out there....came across this on the A127 coming back from Southend tonight, women lost it approaching a roundabout, reckons she was doing 20 but I don't think so.

Anyway in the time we were there, a Clio locked up trying to slow for the roundabout, an Audi had all systems go (ABS etc) trying to stop, an old school Merc span out and almost hit the barriers, an E36 320 went sideways but managed to control it, various understeers from lots of cars, proper crazy shit. Scariest one was a Sainsburys Lorry starting to slide, fortunately he controlled it quite well but that could have turned nasty.

Oops. It isn't too bad out there if you're driving carefully - I'm far more out in the sticks than that too!!

Had 1 slightly dodgy corner where I ended up sliding the van round it last night, other than that it was ok?

but one guy in a dark blue drift beemer got the arse end out big time on the roundabout in front of me, i came round the corner and saw him parked half on the roundabout half on the road and trying to reverse it back onto the road Saw it later parked up in Ikea and one of the rear tyres had a nice golf ball sized bump sticking out of it. Apparently it was only put on new the week before, gutted!

Speed camera is covered up mate, and it's a 40. It still doesn't look like 20 to me, she's wedged herself straight through the trees, gone through all the crash bars and strengthening behind the bumper!

Yeah I heard about a Pulsar that had it's front end missing. Was a car overturned on the A127 and another that had lost it and hit a telegraph pole, crazy shit

my car slipped round a few roundabouts last night was quite scary on one of them as i felt all the car go light not just the front end like normal. and if i had of kept sliding i cant imagine it being to much fun potentially going through barriers and falling onto a dual carriage way

I just had a 4 wheel slide going round a roundabout, it felt cool as fuck but I was quite relieved when it gripped and I had control again

I slipped a bit yesterday, came out of the one road, and it curves round quite tightly through the roundabout into the next left, going round there not particularly quick and back end slid out a fair bit. Terrible out there.

Roads are slidey - pulled out of a junction in the Polo GTi, put it into second - mega understeer - not good!

The thing is people need to slow down and having grit out doesnt really help? How the hell do people in Russia cope with RWD ladas yet we can't deal with mild subzero temperatures?

I saw some guy in a Ford lightening truck go sideways off a roundabout when driving through Roydon yesterday! Dunno why he tried to carry so much speedinto a roundabout especially considering it has a live rear axle

Oh yeah that's a point, the amount of people actually trying to get sideways around it was funny too

My mate was shitting it in his 200sx though, diff didn't know what to do and kept locking up going down the M25 @ 70
