So nearly bought a 1.9 jtd with the full abrath kit but had a night to think about it and in the mean time he sold it! Cheers mate!

Get a decent spec one with the kit - awesome.

Look at the current values compared to other cars of the same class i.e. Astra's, Focus's etc, then you'll see how good they are

Yeah they just don't seem well made at all to me, in any aspect.

Awaits people to say I have one/have owned one and it never put a foot wrong etc.

My mates dad had one as a hire/courtesy/company car for a few days and took us to Cambridge. He drove a Mk4 Astra Estate 1.6 8v at the time. The Stilo he got was some diesel thing and said it was the worst car he'd ever driven.

kurt is right, there shit lol, my dad has had his since new, this is the faults he has had:

car being 8 months old - new rear shock as old was leaking
1 year old - respray of roof
13 months old - new sensor in front passeneger seat
16 months old - replace the same sensor again

thats just for an example of the problem he has had with it
but now for the list of the current faults

driver interior door handle has snapped
brake bulb warning light keeps coming on when the lights are working fine
one of the hub caps looks corroded
fan belt is noisy cunt
leak from sump bolt

thats the current faults which have just built up over the last couple of years

to be fair the stilo does less miles a year than my corsa b, my corsa b is older, and the last two years i have had less problems with my car than his.

but i wouldnt say all fiats are shit, my mum has my old fiat seicento, been serviced once in the last 25000 miles, never had a problem with it
